As a Senior Account Manager for Freshworks, you will be responsible for existing mid-size UKI organisations. Your accounts will all have strategic importance to the growth of the region. You will work with teams across Freshworks to manage all aspects of the sales process including business development, lead management, qualification, evaluation, and closing. This role is quota-carrying, commission-based, and integral to our success.
Your role and responsibilities:
Along with your manager, define and execute plans for your accounts, and then exceed your sales goals through stakeholder mapping, prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities
Develop and manage your sales pipeline, by assessing and moving many activities simultaneously
Grow, manage and track customer contact and install base within your accounts
Act as a guide and strategic partner to your accounts by becoming intimately knowledgeable about their key business challenges
Use resources effectively, including MRE, SDR, Pre-Sales, Support, Project Managers and Product Marketing Managers to meet your sales goals
Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecasting
Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer care
Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts as and when required
Our perfect match:
Experienced Account Manager: You have a track record of getting to know your Customers' business, their goals, and connecting this with your products and solutions to identify and close growth opportunities. You are adept and moving an opportunity through the Sales process to closure.
Results orientation: You are highly motivated and can talk about your record in generating pipeline, closing deals, and getting results as measured by revenue attainment. Having an account strategy and executing on it to deliver revenue growth is what you do best.
Relationship management: You recognise that winning is a team sport - you can identify key stakeholders internally and externally and you play to your personality to build enduring relationships. Industry experienced. You have several years of experience in Account management selling experience from the SaaS industry or recurring revenue industry ( e.g. Telco).
Team Player: You can make a positive contribution to help a growing team continually improve our processes and you are able to have fun and celebrate winning also.
5+ years of experience in Account Management in a SaaS company
Bachelor Degree or higher
